Accounting Clerk Opportunity | Schenectady, NY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join an Expense Team on a temporary basis. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on invoicing, data entry, account reconciliation, and expense-related records.

Responsibilities

  • Process and enter invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Perform data entry and maintain financial records related to expenses
  • Reconcile accounts and help resolve discrepancies
  • Utilize proprietary accounting software to manage and track transactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support accurate reporting and smooth workflow
  • Assist with general administrative and accounting support

Qualifications

  • 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with invoice matching and invoicing
  • Strong data entry, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma required

Work Environment

  • 100% onsite at company headquarters
  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • 40-hour work week with a 30-minute lunch
  • Occasional overtime based on business needs
  • Onsite café available for lunch

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
