Position Details
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- No weekends
- Starting pay: $15.00 per hour and up, depending on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities
- Process and prepare prescription orders accurately
- Enter prescription information into the pharmacy system
- Assist patients with prescription pickup and questions
- Communicate with physicians' offices and insurance companies
- Resolve insurance billing issues
- Maintain medication inventory and receive wholesaler orders
- Answer phones and provide outstanding customer service
- Support the pharmacist in delivering exceptional patient care
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Arkansas Pharmacy Technician License (or ability to obtain)
- Retail pharmacy experience
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is a plus
