Duties

• Assemble and install prefabricated trusses according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to cut, assemble, and lift truss components
• Measure and mark materials accurately for cutting and assembly to ensure precise fitment
• Collaborate with team members to lift, position, and secure trusses on-site or in the shop environment
• Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a safe work environment for all team members
• Maintain a clean work area and properly store tools and materials after each shift

Skills

• Experience in framing carpentry, or related construction roles
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely including forklifts when necessary
• Proficient with hand tools such as saws, hammers, drills, and power tools
• Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
