We are hiring a dependable Lead Restoration Technician to help run field projects and serve homeowners during emergency property damage situations.
Job Summary
The Lead Restoration Technician performs hands-on mitigation work while helping guide job execution in the field. This role includes water mitigation, demolition, structural drying setup, and maintaining high standards on job sites.
This is an ideal role for experienced technicians who take ownership, work well under pressure, and are ready to step into leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead water damage mitigation and structural drying projects
- Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials
- Set up air movers, dehumidifiers, containment, and job controls
- Guide job flow and maintain quality standards in the field
- Take documentation photos and moisture readings
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Follow OSHA, EPA, and IICRC standards
- Maintain trucks, tools, and equipment readiness
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (clean driving record required)
- Strong reliability and leadership mindset
- Ability to perform physical labor and lead by example
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to participate in on-call emergency rotation
Preferred Experience
- 2 years restoration or mitigation experience
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD preferred)
- Experience running drying systems and job documentation
- Construction or skilled trades background
