Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in Fernandina Beach, FL The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting healthcare providers with patient care, maintaining and updating medical records, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures. Additional responsibilities include working with medical terminology, managing the front office, and ensuring smooth daily operations within the medical facility.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Medical Assisting, including assisting with procedures and clinical tasks
- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and its application in a clinical setting
- Experience in Medical Office operations, including scheduling and administrative support
- Commitment to high-quality Patient Care with a professional and compassionate approach
- Ability to manage and maintain accurate Medical Records
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Medical Assistant, CPR) are a plus
- Previous experience in pain management or a related field is advantageous
