Landscape Team Lead - Maintenance Division

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of groundskeepers, landscapers, and maintenance staff to execute daily landscape maintenance tasks efficiently and safely
• Oversee lawn care, pruning, and groundskeeping activities to ensure high-quality results
• Operate company vehicles and landscaping equipment responsibly to perform outdoor work safely and effectively
• Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and maintenance; diagnose horticultural issues promptly
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with company policies during all outdoor operations

Skills

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, and groundskeeping with a strong understanding of horticulture principles
• Supervising or team management experience in outdoor or landscaping environments
• Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools
• Strong plant identification skills coupled with knowledge of tree care practices
• Leadership qualities with the ability to manage crew schedules, assign tasks effectively, and motivate team members
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, team members, and vendors effectively
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles in outdoor settings
• Demonstrated outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a focus on safety and quality standards

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
