We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Horticultural Technician to help care for high-end residential and commercial landscapes. This position focuses on plant health, seasonal color installations, pruning, and landscape enhancement projects. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and has a passion for horticulture.
What You'll Do
- Assist with plant health care programs, including fertilizer and pesticide applications
- Install and maintain seasonal color displays
- Perform shrub and ornamental tree pruning
- Monitor landscapes for pest, disease, and irrigation issues
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and equipment
- Follow company safety standards and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Experience in horticulture, landscaping, nursery operations, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of plant identification, pruning techniques, and plant health care practices is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Valid driver's license required
- South Carolina pesticide applicator license is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
