This is a full-time, on-site role in Tampa, FL, for a Permit Coordinator. The Permit Coordinator will be responsible for preparing and managing building permit applications, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with relevant departments and agencies, tracking the progress of permits, scheduling inspections, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, the role involves acting as a point of contact for customers and internal teams regarding permit-related inquiries.
- Knowledge and experience in Permit Applications and Building Permits processes
- Effective Communication and strong Customer Service skills
- Familiarity with Inspection requirements and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively with municipalities, contractors, and internal teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction or related fields are a plus
