What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Conduct facility inspections to identify and address safety concerns, maintenance needs, and operational issues.
- Maintain exam rooms, procedure areas, offices, and common spaces to ensure all fixtures, lighting, and utilities are functioning properly.
- Respond promptly to scheduled and urgent maintenance requests across multiple clinic locations.
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the life of facility assets and equipment.
- Maintain exterior areas, including walkways, parking lots, and landscaping as needed.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
- Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and special projects.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, labor, materials, and costs using the facility management system.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours or weekend support when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of facility maintenance experience.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general mechanical systems.
- Experience coordinating equipment repairs, purchasing facility supplies, and maintaining building grounds.
- Basic understanding of building systems, including elevators, fire alarms, plumbing, and related infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
- Technical training, engineering background, facility management experience, or related education.
- Facilities Management certification or similar credential.
- Strong customer-service mindset and commitment to creating a safe, professional environment.
