What You’ll Do
- Manage a high call volume with professionalism, efficiency, and empathy
- Quickly and accurately schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments across multiple providers and specialties
- Collect and verify patient demographics and insurance information in real time
- Identify urgent needs and help prioritize patients appropriately
- Ensure all patient records are complete and detailed to support seamless clinical care
- Direct calls and inquiries to the correct departments without delay
- Stay on top of voicemails, internal messages, and task queues throughout the day
- Return patient calls promptly to maintain access and satisfaction
- Partner with the Clinic Director and clinical staff to accommodate urgent “work-in” appointments
- Assist with collecting outstanding balances when needed
- Contribute to a team-focused environment where flexibility and support are key
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand office setting
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Clear, confident communication and a patient-first mindset
- Solid computer skills; experience with EMR systems is a plus
- Prior experience in orthopedic, specialty care, or outpatient rehab strongly preferred
- A team-oriented attitude with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency
