Art Director

Coastal Moto is seeking a skilled and ambitious Art Director to lead the visual and creative development of our motorcycles. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to put their artistry and creative leadership skills to work in a dynamic and energetic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of designers to produce eye-catching design strategies that will set us apart in the motorcycle industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creative process and give guidance to the creative people that work under them
• Develop inspiring, original, and memorable design concepts in line with the company’s vision and brand guidelines
• Work closely with the product development team to integrate key product features into design work
• Lead and collaborate with the creative team to deliver consistent and high-quality design output
• Present concepts to senior management and incorporate feedback effectively
• Conform to timelines for designing processes and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  
  

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing or related discipline
• At least 5 years experience in a similar position, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong portfolio showing the breadth of your artistic and design skills
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities – experience mentoring junior designers will be a plus
• Proficiency in design software, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign – 3D design skills will be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to present and explain design concepts and decisions to teams and stakeholders.
