Position Summary
Coastal Landing is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Waitstaff member to join our dining team. The Waitstaff member is responsible for providing excellent dining service to our residents and guests while creating a welcoming, enjoyable, and respectful dining experience.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing exceptional customer service, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced dining environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet residents and guests warmly and provide courteous, attentive service.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Answer questions about menu items and assist residents with selections when needed.
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and ready for service.
- Check on residents throughout the meal to ensure their needs are met.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently throughout the dining period.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service areas.
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
- Communicate resident requests, concerns, dietary needs, or other important information to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Work cooperatively with kitchen and dining room staff to provide smooth and efficient service.
Qualifications
- Previous waitstaff, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to remain organized and attentive in a busy dining environment.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry food, beverages, dishes, and trays.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
