Coastal Home is actively seeking a furniture sales person.
The sales person would provide customer-focused assistance in our retail stores and close sales of our products to help customers create beautiful homes. Sales Associate Job Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers in a retail environment
- Assist clients with the selection of unique products of unparalleled quality, including furniture, accessories, rugs, window treatments and more.
- Collaborating with our stock, inventory, special order and delivery programs to ensure that customers are satisfied
- Maintaining and improving the store cleanliness
- The ability to comply with company policies and procedures
- Must be computer literate
- Weekends and holidays are required
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, and are trained to work with a range of design styles from classic to contemporary.
- Have a passion for sales & design, the desire to excel in a competitive environment and the drive to maximize your earning potential and reach your goals.
Requirements:
- Proficient with computers and software use
- Professional written and verbal communications
- An understanding of how to close sales in a fast-paced and energetic work environment
- An understanding of the importance of methodical follow-through and accurate documentation Interior design degree a plus
- Must be flexible to work retail schedule including weekends
