What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Scheduling & HR Coordinator position at Coastal Health Connections?
We’re looking for a Facility Scheduling & HR Coordinator to join our compassionate, fast-paced team. This role will primarily coordinate staffing for our facility partners, assist with hiring and onboarding field staff, and provide support to our home care scheduling team as needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and manage daily and weekly schedules, primarily for our facility staffing division
- Communicate with facility schedulers to understand staffing needs and fill open shifts
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with nurses, caregivers, and other field staff
- Respond quickly to call-outs, open shifts, and last-minute scheduling changes
- Recruit, interview, and assist with onboarding new employees
- Help maintain employee records, credentials, and required documentation
- Provide scheduling support to the home care team as needed
- Build positive relationships with facility partners, field staff, clients, and caregivers
- Occasionally represent Coastal Health Connections at recruiting, company, and community events
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in healthcare scheduling, staffing, recruiting, or HR is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person
- Familiarity with scheduling or applicant-tracking software is a plus
- A dependable, approachable, and team-oriented attitude
