Warehouse Supervisor

Role Overview: Responsible for supervising daily warehouse operations within areas such as shipping, receiving, selection, loading, and storage. Ensures productivity, accuracy, safety, and excellent customer service by assigning tasks, training associates, and managing department performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including work assignment and scheduling.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and security standards; oversee equipment maintenance and report issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote safety awareness.
• Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate updates, and manage staffing, training, and performance management.
• Monitor KPIs, generate reports, and manage department goals and budgets.
• Participate in injury investigations and ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with labor agreement administration and other assigned duties.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of warehouse distribution experience preferred.
• 1 year of supervisory or lead experience required.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work flexible hours, and lead teams effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
  
  

Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, work in a warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels, and perform physical activities such as walking, standing, crouching, and reaching. Must be able to work shifts that include weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
