Warehouse Shipping Clerk

Position Overview: As a Shipping Clerk, you will verify and document outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders.
• Record shipping data including weight, charges, space availability, and damages for reporting and accounting.
• Communicate with establishment representatives to resolve issues like damages or non-conformance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  
  

Work Environment: Warehouse settings including freezer (-20F to 0F), perishable (28F to 60F), grocery (50F to 90F), and office conditions (65F to 75F).

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with pallet jacks preferred; warehouse experience minimum six months.
• Ability to work the overnight shift and overtime.
• Knowledge of grocery selection advantageous.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on attendance, safety, and productivity.
