Key Responsibilities Include
- Setting up and removing cones, signs, and barricades to manage traffic flow
- Guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles and monitoring site activity
- Adhering to all safety protocols learned during training
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment
- Working outdoors in various weather conditions and potentially long hours
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand, walk, lift 40-50 pounds, and work outside for extended periods
- Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions
- Flexible schedule and punctuality
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug tests
- Alertness around moving traffic and respectful interaction with coworkers and the public
