Maintenance Electrician

In this position as an Industrial Electrician you would be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within a corrugated manufacturing facility.

Essential Functions

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
• Controls including motors, drives, PLCs, and control panels added benefit not required
• Ability to run conduit, size circuits and breakers for machinery and building
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations. Follow NEC code guidelines,
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support equipment upgrades and modifications.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Maintain inventory of electrical supplies and tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical systems.
• Ability to operate scissor lifts and ariel boom lifts
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues across facility systems and infrastructure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical work, preferably in a manufacturing environment, corrugated experience a plus
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and motor controls. PLC programming a plus.
• Familiarity with 480V 3-phase systems and industrial automation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of OSHA standards

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.
• Work in hot, cold, or noisy environments typical of manufacturing facilities.
