As an entry level Account Manager, you will step into a rigorous leadership position focused on balancing hands-on customer acquisition with critical team coaching and operational oversight. You will work closely with senior management to master entry level performance tracking, sales strategy implementation, and team development for the retail program.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily coaching and structured training sessions for sales representatives, emphasizing ethical acquisition practices and fluency in client offerings.
- Review and interpret sales performance data—including KPIs, conversion rates, and territory coverage—to identify trends, adjust team strategy, and drive campaign results.
- Monitor compliance across all direct sales activities to ensure alignment with client standards, promotional protocols, and reporting requirements.
- Support growth efforts by conducting interviews, selecting qualified candidates, and onboarding new entry level team members to strengthen campaign execution.
- Maintain active involvement in sales operations to model effective closing techniques and provide real-time guidance and motivation to the team.
- Resolve escalated customer or sales issues requiring management input, applying strategic problem-solving to preserve satisfaction and Account Manager team cohesion.
Account Manager Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; coursework or education in Business, Management, Economics, Communications, or a similar field is a plus
- Entry level experience in sales, team leadership, or campaign execution—retail or customer service background is an advantage.
- Proven ability to coach, train, and motivate sales teams toward entry level performance benchmarks and territory goals.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting KPIs, conversion rates, and sales trends to guide Account Manager team strategy.
- Familiarity with retail marketing, pricing structures, and promotional frameworks preferred.
