What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-Person Clinician (FT or PT) Fairfield or Milford LCSW, LMSW, LPC-A, LPC, LMFT-A or LMFT position at Coastal Connecticut Counseling LLC?
At Coastal Connecticut Counseling, we believe that meaningful care starts with compassion, grows through connection, and is strengthened by community.
We are a clinician-owned practice rooted in the communities we serve, with a focus on making care accessible, consistent, and genuinely supportive for both our clients and our clinicians. As we continue to grow across Connecticut, we’re looking for clinicians who are not just seeking a position, but a place to build, grow, and feel grounded in their work.
We are currently hiring in-person clinicians in our Fairfield and Milford locations. This role can be full-time or part-time, with a minimum of 8 billable client hours per week and the flexibility to grow your caseload in a way that feels sustainable.
This is a strong fit for clinicians who value both structure and autonomy, where expectations are clear, support is steady, and you have the space to develop your own clinical style while still feeling part of a connected team.
We are especially looking for clinicians with experience working with children and families, who are comfortable navigating complex parenting conversations and focused on building strong, lasting therapeutic relationships. The ability to connect with both children and caregivers, communicate clearly, and show up consistently is key.
Compensation is based on licensure and experience:
- Provisionally licensed clinicians: starting at $35 per billable client hour
- Fully licensed clinicians: starting at $55 per billable client hour
A billable client hour reflects the full scope of care provided, including time in session as well as documentation, treatment planning, clinically appropriate case management, and communication directly related to client care.
As a W-2 employee, you’ll have access to paid sick time, the opportunity to enroll in our 401(k), and professional development opportunities at a reduced cost or no cost.
At Coastal, we focus on building something sustainable. You’ll have the opportunity to grow your caseload, strengthen your clinical voice, and, over time, step into additional opportunities if that aligns with your goals.
If you’re looking for meaningful work in a setting that values consistency, support, and growth, we’d love to connect.
