What are the responsibilities and job description for the Options Coordinator position at Coastal Community Builders?
CCB is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic options coordinator to join our team. Candidate will need to have accounting, construction and/or interior design knowledge background.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Data Entry of buyer option upgrade purchase orders and distribution to our vendors & subcontractors, as well as our internal departments.
- Generation of new purchase orders
- Coordinating with various internal departments to assure timely and accurate ordering, installation, and payment between CCB and our vendors or subcontractors
- Operate within our Pharaoh contracts management computer software system for design, contracting and reporting purposes
- Development and distribution of diagrams for use by our Construction teams to assure accurate installation of flooring, tile, electrical fixtures, and other buyer upgrade options.
- Develop and maintain catalogues of products that our design teams can offer for sale as upgrades to homebuyers.
- Schedule and attend appointments between our designers, our construction teams, and our buyers.
- Communicate and enforce Deadlines to other departments to assure timely order input and distribution.
- Management and organization of the file system for the options department.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a High School Diploma (associate’s degree or higher a plus)
- Minimum of one (1) year of general office or administrative experience
- Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints is highly desired
- Basic accounting knowledge required (invoicing, billing, job costing support, etc)
- Working knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional phone and email etiquette
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple ongoing projects and competing priorities
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to shift priorities quickly and efficiently
- Ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to problem-solve in a dynamic work setting

- Pay: From $23-$25 per hour
