CCHC Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine is seeking a motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine team. This position is ideal for an individual looking to develop specialized skills in a professional, outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pulmonary Function Testing: Perform and master PFTs, including Spirometry (pre and post), Diffusion Studies, and Lung Volumes (including Plethysmography and Nitrogen Washout).
- Equipment Care: Calibrate and maintain all pulmonary function machinery.
- Patient Care: Conduct 6-minute walk tests, provide comprehensive inhaler instruction, and communicate effectively with patients.
- Collaboration: Work well with our clinical team while maintaining the ability to perform tasks independently.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Licensure: Active NC Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT).
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.
