Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our heart and vascular team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care and support our physicians and nurse practitioners in delivering excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and prepare them for examinations
- Record vital signs, medical histories, and patient concerns
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Provide patient education regarding medications, procedures, and care plans
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
- Collaborate with a team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of North Carolina
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Prior experience in a cardiology or specialty care setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using EMR systems (experience with Epic a plus)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
