What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist - Cardiology position at Coastal Cardiology?
Coastal Cardiology’s team of board-certified physicians has been serving the Central Coast’s cardiovascular needs for more than thirty years.
While the work is fast-paced, our culture is engaging, and emphasizes opportunities for growth and development. We are currently hiring for receptionists for our San Luis Obispo location.
We are a very busy office, with MANY incoming calls and many referrals.
You should be able to:
- Answer phones and return calls in a timely manner
- Follow AIDET principles
- Schedule appointments accurately and timely
- Take care of your provider's busy schedule
- Work well with patients, doctors, and colleagues
- Be kind, efficient, and HIPAA-compliant in all interactions
Customer service experience is required. Experience with Athena IDX and Cerner Ambulatory EHR is a plus.
Background check and drug screening are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
