Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP software
- Conduct accurate data entry for inventory updates, shipment tracking, and order processing using RF scanners and inventory management software
- Prepare packages for shipment by selecting appropriate materials, labeling, and ensuring proper packing techniques in accordance with trade compliance and international trade regulations
- Maintain organized stock levels through stocking, picking & packing, order picking, and inventory management practices
- Collaborate with warehouse distribution teams to coordinate logistics, optimize warehouse space, and ensure timely order fulfillment
- Perform routine safety checks on equipment like pallet jacks and reach trucks while adhering to warehouse safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts (reach truck preferred) and other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRP platforms, and inventory management software
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and warehouse operations
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, packing, and order picking tasks
- Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners
- Prior experience in e-commerce or warehouse distribution environments is highly desirable
