Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our production processes and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Quality Control Inspector will utilize various inspection tools and methodologies to assess product quality and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to conduct quality assurance inspections and audits and document the results per customer and internal requirements.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Collect sample parts and measure them according to an inspection procedure.
2. Record inspection results in an SPC software package and evaluate whether the parts are acceptable.
3. Review internal procedures and conduct process audits to ensure procedures are being followed.
4. Know, understand, and follow pertinent company/plant procedures, rules, and policies. Attend trainings, as required.
5. Keep work area/equipment clean and orderly.
6. Communicate effectively with personnel from all departments, vendors, and customers as necessary.
7. Maintain organized records, logs, and samples.
Required Training:
In addition to the Universal Turtle Lake training requirements, this position also requires product-specific training.
Education/Experience:
A High School diploma with strong relevant work experience is preferred, but not required.
