What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Employment position at Coast Electric Power Association?
Coast Electric is seeking motivated students for summer employment opportunities across multiple departments. Students will gain hands-on work experience, exposure to utility operations, and professional skill development. Positions may be located at Kiln Headquarters, Harrison County District Office, Pearl River County District Office, Bay St Louis Branch Office, Biloxi Branch Office, or Poplarville Branch Office.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be enrolled in high school or college full time. Must be at least 16 years of age. Some positions require applicants to be at least 18 years of age. Proof of age will be required.
LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT:
Summer employment lasts up to 10 weeks. Start dates and termination dates will be coordinated through the Human Resources Department. Typical work schedule: Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
