Position: You’ll perform a key analytical and modeling role in supporting the development, integration, and performance assessment of our aerospace weapons systems. You will contribute to the understanding of system behavior in flight environments, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure that guidance, navigation, control, and overall system performance align with program requirements.

- Develop and maintain flight-dynamics models (CFD, FEM) to analyze system performance across expected mission performance.
- Support simulation, trajectory assessment, and stability/performance evaluations in collaboration with systems, guidance, and propulsion engineers.
- Review and interpret test data (ground, lab, or flight-related) to validate models and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist engineering leadership in diagnosing performance issues, assessing trade-offs, and refining system behavior.
- Prepare clear technical documentation, analysis summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvement by recommending analytical methods, tools, or workflow enhancements.
- Collaborate with technical leadership and staff across various engineering disciplines.
Qualifications:
- 2-10 years in flight dynamics, aerodynamics, simulation/analysis, or a closely related aerospace discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with dynamic modeling, simulation tools, or numerical methods: to include Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Ability to interpret engineering requirements, specifications, and relevant aerospace documentation standards.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to accuracy, validation, and engineering rigor.
- Understanding of aerodynamic modeling or multi-disciplinary system analysis.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to meet security or background-screening requirements.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented engineering environment.
Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with weapon systems or other aerospace/defense systems analysis.
- Exposure to guidance, navigation, and control concepts.
- Proficiency with simulation or modeling environments (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or other analysis tools).
