Position: You will work out of our Fairfax, VA location and will assist the FSO with implementing and managing CoAspire’s Industrial Security Program in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), DCSA requirements, and all applicable federal regulations. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail‑oriented security professional who thrives in a challenging and rapidly changing setting.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of the facility security program under direction of the FSO.
- Assist with personnel security processing and clearance actions; maintain records in DISS, NBIS, and NISS.
- Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and annual refresher training.
- Enforce and monitor compliance with NISP requirements and company security policies.
- Support incident reporting, visit requests, access control, and badge management.
- Assist with security audits, self‑inspections, and preparations for DCSA reviews.
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare required security reports.
- Serve as a backup point of contact for employees and visitors regarding security matters.
- Support classified material control, including proper storage, transmission, and destruction.
- Assist with development and updates to security plans, SOPs, and emergency response procedures.
- Support physical security design, including camera systems, alarms, and badge access systems.
Qualifications: Candidates must meet core industrial security requirements and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a controlled environment. Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship with a current security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
- Familiarity with NISPOM (32 CFR 117), DCSA policies, and industrial security practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and responsibly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort using DISS, NISS, and NBIS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of DoD marking requirements for CUI and classified material (DoDM 5200.01 Volumes 2–4, 32 CFR 2002).
- Understanding of ITAR and EAR compliance requirements for handling and transferring controlled technical data.
- General understanding of business structures and operational processes.
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience supporting an FSO or working in an industrial security environment.
- Active Secret clearance or higher.
- Completion of CDSE training or equivalent security coursework.
- Experience managing COMSEC accounts in accordance with CNSSI 4001 and NSA Manual 3‑16.
- Experience managing or supporting collateral closed areas and/or SCIFs in accordance with ICD 705, ICS 705‑1, and customer‑specific accreditation requirements.
- Experience with accreditation and management of Multi‑User Standalone (MUSA) Accredited Information Systems.

This position pays $100,000 -145,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
