The Guest Services Shift Supervisor will provide leadership and have oversight of Guest Service Professionals, Receptionists and the Community Health Initiative. Primary Duties
- Provide leadership to the campus in the absence of management.
- Provide direct supervision to Environmental Services Associates, Community Health Initiative staff, and Receptionists.
- Coordinate, maintain, and assist with dorm inspections, cleanup, and organization.
- Oversee the Community Health Initiative.
- Oversee the Guest Support Professionals in the absence of their direct supervisors.
- Responsible for the ordering of all cleaning supplies and supplies for the Community Health Initiative.
- Prepare and conduct performance reviews of those supervised.
- Oversee and conduct weekly dorm inspections with the assistance of the Housing Specialists.
- Review Incident Reports, provide feedback and training to staff, and submit in accordance with the timeframe of agency policy.
- Review, submit, and turn in all documentation related to Payroll in a timely manner.
- Act as the Agency Liaison with AARP, Re-employability, and OCCD, ensuring compliance requirements and internal coordination.
- Provide training and coaching for direct reports to enhance staff development.
- Maintain data, budget, and orders for the Community Health Initiative.
- Ensure the integrity of handling guest mail.
- Maintain records to be ready for audit in cooperation with the accounting department.
- Provide direct support to the Director of Guest Services and Information Technology.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and dismissal of Environmental Service Associates, Receptionists, and Community Health Initiative staff.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Director of Guest Services and Information Technology.
- Must possess at least a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have leadership experience.
- Understanding of the homeless population is preferred.
- Strong communication and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours based on the needs of the agency.

- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Occasionally lift and move up to 25 lbs.
- Must have vision capabilities, including the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to provide leadership and manage staff.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear direction, training, and instructions to staff.
- Ability to be a team player.
- Ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.
