Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects at our Combined Cycle Generation Plant in Richland, Mississippi. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in project scheduling within the power generation, utilities, or heavy industrial sectors. This role is critical to ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 (or equivalent scheduling tools).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and field teams to collect progress data and validate schedule updates.
- Monitor project milestones, critical paths, and resource allocations to proactively identify risks and delays.
- Prepare and deliver schedule reports, dashboards, and progress analyses for project leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct “what-if” scenarios and recovery plan evaluations to support decision-making.
- Support the integration of cost and schedule data for forecasting and earned value analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and plant procedures related to scheduling and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of project scheduling experience in power generation, utilities, oil & gas, or large-scale industrial projects.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6; experience with MS Project and reporting tools a plus.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, earned value management, and critical path methodology.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
