As a Project Coordinator, you’ll be the driving force behind the organization and execution of field activities. You’ll coordinate crews, equipment, and resources to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule. From planned maintenance to emergency restoration, you’ll help keep operations running smoothly while ensuring compliance with safety and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee field crews, contractors, and resources for maintenance and construction work.
- Support both system restoration and scheduled outages by managing field logistics and communication.
- Track maintenance and capital projects, budgets, and expenditures.
- Prepare bid proposals and manage contractor performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding outage schedules and service updates.
- Report project progress and performance to management.
- Contribute to department planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Recommend process and technology improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, management, or related field OR journeyman lineman certification with 3–5 years of related experience.
- Candidates without a degree or certification must have 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate diverse teams.
- Familiarity with electric utility operations, safety standards, and field coordination preferred.
