Entry Level Sales Consultant
Dallas, TX (Uptown – Onsite)
Base: $50K/yr Uncapped Commission | On-Target Year 1 Earnings: $80,000–$100,000
About the Opportunity
This is an entry-level sales and business development role with a clear path into full client-facing consulting and account management. You'll start in candidate sourcing and recruiting — identifying, engaging, and screening talent for client roles — then progress into building client relationships, negotiating placements, and eventually managing your own accounts. No prior sales or recruiting experience is required; CMC's structured training program builds these skills from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Source and engage candidates across engineering, project management, and energy sector roles
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future client searches
- Conduct candidate interviews to assess skills, experience, and role fit
- Partner with senior consultants on client hiring needs and account support
- Develop cold outreach, negotiation, and relationship-building skills through direct client and candidate interaction
- Track sourcing activity and pipeline performance using internal CRM/ATS systems
