Coachella Valley Unified School District covers more than 1,200 square miles of mostly rural desert terrain, serving the communities of Coachella, Thermal, Mecca, Oasis, Indio, and the Salton Sea. The district currently operates fifteen elementary schools, three middle schools, three comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, and one adult school. Candidate selected for position will require to apply for a School Nurse Services Credential. Requirements to clear the School Nurse Services Credential: Complete 2 years of successful experience as a school nurse, finish a Commission approved school nurse program and receive the recommendation of the college or university where the program was taken.
