Position: Live-In Caregiver

Job Overview
CoCares Golden is looking for a compassionate, responsible, and dependable Live-In Caregiver to provide quality care to our elderly residents in a comfortable, home-like environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Medication Management: Safely administer medications, maintain accurate health records, and monitor resident well-being in compliance with state regulations. No QMAP? No problem. If you are a dedicated caregiver, we will fully pay for your Colorado QMAP certification class so you can grow with our team!
Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily activities.
Mobility Assistance: Help residents with walking, transfers, repositioning, and fall prevention.
Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to residents’ dietary needs.
Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness, including laundry, changing bed linens, and keeping resident rooms and common areas organized.
Resident Monitoring: Observe residents’ physical and emotional conditions, record vital signs as assigned, and report any changes or concerns.
Companionship: Engage residents in conversations, recreational activities, and social interactions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate daily care records, medication administration records, and incident reports.
Safety: Follow infection-control procedures, emergency protocols, and facility policies.
Qualifications:
Caregiving experience is preferred.
QMAP certification is preferred, but the company can provide QMAP training if needed.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
Compassionate, patient, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
