We are a Family Oriented Medical practice with Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Diabetic Educators. CNY Family Care takes a team approach to meeting the medical needs of our patients through compassion, respect, and professional care. We are available for our patients when they need us. We partner with our patients to provide a proactive approach to medical care, which improves their quality of life.
One of our main goals at CNY Family Care, LLP is to provide all of our patients with continuous and comprehensive health care. As part of this care model, we ask all of our patients to select one personal physician. This PCP/Primary Care Physician will maintain an ongoing relationship with the patient and will then always be in charge of their care. They will oversee the care team that consists of nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Diabetic Educators who might interact with the patients when they visit the office. Our care team will work towards ensuring that the patients receive the appropriate age-related preventative testing and treatment as well as the latest evidence-based treatment (proven and documented) for their individual medical condition(s).
We continue to grow and expand our services in order to meet the demands of our patient population.

Description
Medical Assistant (MA)
- Family Care practice
- Full-Time (40 hours/week) or Part-time (20 - 29 hours/week)
- Day shift
- Flexible schedule
- $19.00 - $27.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Non-Exempt
- Training for the position is full-time schedule for 6 - 8 weeks

Medical Assistant (MA) Responsibilites
- Room patients
- Obtain vitals
- Assist with intake process
- Perform ECG's
- Work with the provider to assist during the patient visit
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Graduate of a certified Medical Assistant (MA) or LPN program OR 1 - 3 years experience in a Medical Assistant role in medical office
- Prior experience in busy medical office preferred, but not required.
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- High school gratuate or GED equilvalent
- Graduate of a certified Medical Assistant (MA) or LPN program OR 1 - 3 years experience in a Medical Assistant role in medical office
- Prior experience in busy medical office preferred, but not required
