The Lab Technician Assistant (Biomass Packer) plays an essential role in preparing and packing cannabis biomass for extraction. Responsibilities
- Weigh, sort, and pack cannabis biomass according to lab standards and state regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Label, record, and track all biomass batches in METRC or other tracking software.
- Follow all SOPs and safety procedures during handling and packing.
- Assist lab staff in preparing biomass for extraction and other lab processes.
- Ensure compliance with state cannabis regulations and company policies.
- Report discrepancies, safety concerns, or equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs independently.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
- Must have a flexible schedule; available for varying shifts as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
- Prior experience in the cannabis industry, manufacturing, or lab operations is a plus but not required.
