Boutique Store Manager
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on, people-focused leader to manage a small boutique offering gifts, women's wear, and sexual health and wellness products. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being both a leader and an active part of the daily operations—someone who connects easily with customers, leads by example, and creates a comfortable environment where conversations about personal wellness and lifestyle feel natural and supported.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including sales, inventory management, merchandising, and loss prevention.
- Create and issue purchase orders in the system, receive incoming shipments, verify inventory counts, and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Help evaluate and select new products, working directly with external vendors to curate a thoughtful and well-balanced product mix.
- Lead by example—providing excellent, personalized customer service and thoughtful product education across all categories.
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where customers and team members feel comfortable discussing sensitive or personal topics.
- Hire, train, and mentor a small, engaged team, helping each member grow in both confidence and product knowledge.
- Bring creativity to product displays, local outreach, and in-store events that reflect the boutique's unique personality and values.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in retail or boutique management with strong operational, inventory, and organizational skills.
- Confidence and emotional intelligence—comfortable engaging customers in open, respectful conversations about sexual wellness and lifestyle topics.
- Familiarity with inventory systems, vendor relationships, and product selection processes.
- A genuine curiosity to learn and share knowledge across diverse product lines.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to inspire a small team through trust, coaching, and example.
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for a boutique environment that's continually evolving and community-focused.
Why This Role
- A close-knit, supportive team environment with room for creativity and ownership.
- Growth potential within a company that values authenticity, education, and customer connection.
- The chance to make a real impact by helping people feel informed, comfortable, and confident about the products they choose.
