Senior Account Executive

Target Compensation: $120,000–$180,000 OTE (Year 1)
Overview
CNP Technologies is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our growing team. This is a high-impact role focused on developing new business, managing strategic accounts, and driving growth across our portfolio of IT solutions and services.
We are looking for a proven sales professional who thrives in a consultative environment and has a track record of success selling IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services, and unified communications.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new business by identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities with mid-market and enterprise customers
- Manage and grow relationships within existing accounts, expanding adoption of CNP’s full portfolio
- Deliver compelling presentations to executives, IT leaders, and business stakeholders
- Partner with marketing to drive customer engagement through events and campaigns
- Maintain deep knowledge of CNP’s solutions and services
- Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs
- Track pipeline, forecast accurately, and maintain CRM data
What Success Looks Like
- Establish a clear territory strategy and start to build pipeline within 6 months
- Advance opportunities and close new business within the first year
- Meet or exceed quota through new logo acquisition and account expansion
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders
- Maintain accurate forecasts and strong pipeline hygiene
- Collaborate effectively across internal teams
- Contribute meaningfully to overall revenue growth
Who You Are
- Proven success in IT sales (infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services, cloud, or UC preferred)
- Strong ability to prospect, develop relationships, and close complex deals
- Experience with mid-market and commercial accounts
- Consultative sales approach with strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset
- Experience using CRM and sales tools
