CMT Site Solutions is a small service-disabled veteran owned Colorado company established in 2020. CMT continues to grow and expand its operations. CMT Site Solutions is primarily a civil construction company, specializing in environmental (soil) remediation, structure demolition, excavation, and stormwater management. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman possessing leadership/supervisory skills, excavation experience, and heavy equipment operational experience to join our team. Additional experience in pipefitting and utility installation is beneficial. As a Foreman, you will play a crucial role on various construction projects, ensuring the projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high quality standards. Job Description:

  • Candidate is responsible for supervising crews, managing site safety programs, evaluating work sites, managing project onsite activities, driving efficient cost and schedule performance, implementation of project plans, communicating professionally with clients, and providing guidance to employees in support of company and project goals.
  • Candidate is responsible for safely and efficiently operating various pieces of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, backhoes, loaders, and skid steers for use in demolition, excavation, trenching, soil remediation, backfilling, compacting, and overall site grading activities.
  • Candidate is responsible for communicating with the Project Manager on project status, approaches, changes, or additional needs as required.
  • Candidate is responsible for documenting daily tasks, status, performance, and project summaries utilizing detailed notes and pictures.
  • Candidate will be required to transport materials, fuel, and tools to, from, and between job sites. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a safe driving record to be insurable for use of company vehicles.
  • Candidate will support project pre-planning activities and resource allocation.
  • Candidate will mentor and help train employees on equipment operation, safety, quality, and project logistics.
  • Candidate will maintain a clean and organized work site.
  • Candidate will ensure safety guidelines and protocols are followed to provide a safe work environment.
  • Candidate will perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years applicable foreman / supervisory experience related to excavating, grading, and other earth moving trades.
  • Must possess a minimum of 4 years heavy equipment operating experience with focus on excavators/loaders.
  • Must Possess the ability to read, understand, and implement information from engineered plans including but not limited to grades, slopes, and fall.
  • Must have the ability to pass criminal background and drug screening checks for State and Federal projects.
  • Travel is required depending on work location.
  • Experience in pipefitting and utility installations is an added benefit.
  • A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred, but not required. CMT is willing to reimburse training costs with applicable signed Training and Certification contract.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must possess the ability to conduct equipment safety checks and routine inspections.
  • Must display a strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability and willingness to learn company systems, policies, and procedures quickly.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond with a customer focused mentality.
  • Effective and clear written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Outdoors work is required, in all types of weather.
  • Attention to details and good decision-making skills.
  • Excited to learn new skills and enjoy working within a close and supportive team
  • Must be punctual, professional, honest, reliable, and exhibits a positive attitude daily.
  • Able to work in confined and cluttered spaces (applicable training provided)

Job Type: Full-timePay:$30.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience

Expected hours: 40 hours per week, overtime as required
