What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Materials Laboratory Assistant/Driver position at CMT Services Group?
CMT Services Group is accepting applications for a full-time Delivery-Pick-up Driver/Laboratory Assistant. This is a physical position that involves lifting, lowering and carrying items that typically weigh 15 - 35 lbs, and safety and awareness on construction sites. This position entails collecting concrete, soil and masonry samples from construction sites and delivering them to the materials testing laboratory. Organization Skills for planning your daily route are a must. A DOT background check and drug screening are required.
Driver must have excellent customer contact and driving skills. Qualified applicants must have a valid driver’s license issued in the state that they live. Drivers are expected to comply with CMT's appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided attire. This position is to be based from our West Conshohocken, PA office, but involves daily travel throughout the Tri-state area in a company vehicle.
Successful Candidate should have pride in their work and a strong desire to be part of a growing team of professionals. This candidate will be required to document route daily and be a self starter. In addition, COMMUNICATION is a MUST!

Job Requirements:
Basic qualifications: High School Diploma
5 Years of a Clean Driving Record
3 years of relevant professional experience required
Possess physical strength, stamina and dexterity for repeatedly lifting and moving, stooping, bending, climbing and standing in varying weather conditions at various remote construction sites with varying terrain
Required to possess CURRENT:
Adhere to site specific safety standards
Ability to read and interpret maps and directions
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance
Must be able to pass project specific drug screenings
