Position Description
We are looking for a dedicated RN Nursing Supervisor for our skilled nursing facility in Elkton, MD. This is a full time, on-site role supervising the nursing team on the unit, overseeing day to day resident care, and partnering with the Director of Nursing on clinical quality and survey readiness.
Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license in good standing
- Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long term care setting, charge or supervisory experience preferred
- Working knowledge of care planning, the survey process and clinical documentation
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Able to work full time on site in the building
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the nursing staff on shift, including coaching and coverage
- Oversee resident care, medication management and care plans
- Ensure clinical documentation, compliance and survey readiness
- Partner with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team
- Serve as the clinical point of contact for residents and families
