Commercial Roofing Project Manager
Location: Sarasota, FL
Compensation: $65,000 – $90,000 annually, based on experience

About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee the administrative and operational support of commercial roofing projects from award through closeout.
Commercial roofing project management experience is required. Candidates without prior commercial roofing or closely related construction project management experience will not be considered.
This role serves as the central hub between field operations, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and company leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and on schedule.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Administration & Financial Management
- Manage project documentation from startup through completion.
- Prepare and submit project submittals, closeout packages, warranties, and required documentation.
- Process customer invoicing and monitor payment status.
- Track project expenses and job costs.
- Assist with budget monitoring and profitability tracking.
- Coordinate material procurement and ordering.
Scheduling & Operations Support
- Coordinate project schedules in conjunction with field teams and executive management.
- Ensure projects remain on track for timely completion.
- Coordinate inspections, permits, and project milestones.
- Assist in workforce and equipment scheduling as needed.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address delays or obstacles.
Customer & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication.
- Coordinate with building owners, owner representatives, architects, consultants, and property managers.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Provide timely project updates and resolve issues as they arise.
Problem Solving & Project Coordination
- Identify and address unforeseen project conditions and challenges.
- Develop solutions in collaboration with field personnel and company leadership.
- Anticipate potential issues before they become project disruptions.
- Take ownership of project execution and administration, minimizing the need for executive management involvement in routine project matters.
- Maintain organization and control over all project details from start to finish.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing project management experience required.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple commercial roofing or construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, job costing, and construction administration.
- Experience preparing submittals, closeout documentation, and coordinating inspections.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with field and office personnel.
