DAY-TO-DAY
This roofing management position is full-time and typically works between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.
As a Roofing Construction Project Manager, you oversee field staff operations, safety, quality, and job production. You use your knowledge of the construction industry, as well as your organizational and leadership skills, to ensure quality while keeping projects flowing smoothly and on time. With an eye for efficiency, you schedule and coordinate employees and subcontractors, as well as the delivery and use of materials and equipment. You monitor labor hours, material usage, anticipate shortages, and proactively order materials as needed. You are meticulous about keeping schedules, paperwork, and reports up-to-date.
While some of your time is spent at your desk or on the phone doing administrative tasks, you also get to spend time out in the field at construction sites on a daily basis. Safety is your passion, and you perform daily inspections, make sure that OSHA requirements are being met, and conduct regular company safety trainings. You are all about quality control!
