CMK Resources is seeking a Service Desk Technician to be responsible for deployment, administration, and support of corporate IT solutions for the office and manufacturing operations at Coldwater,MI facility. This role is the primary point of contact for IT support for staff at the facility. Technologies include Microsoft Windows, WAN/LAN/WLAN, SharePoint, M365, VoIP telephony, ERP, CAD/CAM software. Collaborates with the corporate IT infrastructure team regularly.
Must be a US Citizenship or Green Card holder. Not eligible for C2C in any capacity at this time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deploy and support Windows workstations including laptops, desktops, and engineering workstations; occasional server support.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals via RMM, email, phone, and in person.
- Support corporate M365 applications including SharePoint Online, Teams, Zoom VOIP, video conferencing, and CAD/CAM software.
- Administer and audit NTFS file permissions according to policy.
- Onboard and train new users.
- Develop and maintain global IT procedures to meet infrastructure needs.
- Support performed during standard business hours; no after-hours expected.
- Basic ERP support, such as password resets and printing troubleshooting.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
- Certifications a plus: A , Network , CCNA, ITIL Foundation.
- 2–4 years relevant help desk/service desk technician experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
- Experience with Active Directory, group policy, Exchange Online, Windows Security.
- Experience with OS deployments/imaging (SCCM or SmartDeploy).
- Experience with MDM (Intune, JAMF) a plus.
- Experience with Bitlocker disk encryption.
- CMDB inventory management experience a plus.
- Troubleshooting skills: DNS, DHCP, AD group policy, TCP/IP, log analysis.
- Manufacturing environment/OT experience a plus.
- Self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision, strong time management.

- Familiar with legacy systems (Windows 7, NT, XP).
- Ability to troubleshoot shop floor technology.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Mixed office and manufacturing environment. Carry up to 35 lbs. Work in wiring closets and production areas with PPE. Occasional ladder use and elevated equipment installation/troubleshooting.
