About the Role:
We are seeking a Part-Time Clinician (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) to provide counseling to adults and couples using various treatment modalities. EMDR certification is preferred but not required. Candidates who are already credentialed with major insurers are strongly preferred so they can be billable from day one.
This position offers a steady caseload, flexible scheduling, and the ability to work in a hybrid telehealth/in-office model.
Location: Hybrid – Buffalo, NY area (Beautiful historic building on West Utica Street)
Employment Type: Part-Time, 1099 (flexible)
Reports To: Executive Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and couples therapy with a focus on anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, and LGBTQ-affirming care (including HRT letters).
- Apply trauma-informed approaches; EMDR certification a plus.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in AdvancedMD EHR.
- Adhere to CEU and New York State licensure requirements.
- Collaborate with partner NPs/psychiatrists for medication management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Active New York State license (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)
- Already paneled with major insurers strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years post-master’s clinical experience preferred.
- Comfortable with both telehealth and in-person sessions.
Compensation & Benefits:
- 1099 Clinicians: $55 per clinical hour.
