Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and troubleshooting for various IT systems, ensuring optimal performance of hardware and software across multiple locations. This role requires strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset to effectively assist clients with their IT needs. You will be required to drive the company vehicle and respond to requests at client locations. Our senior field technician will work with you closely and show you the ropes.
Duties
- Provide technical support for desktop and laptop computers, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Manage computer systems and networks, printers and peripherals.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of email clients, VPNs, and other software.
- Upgrade Windows 10 systems to Windows 11.
- Clone hard drives to solid state drives.
- Build new workstations, install and configure client software, and deploy the systems to end users.
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace email accounts.
- Drive the company van and maintain stock of equipment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in technical support roles with experience in desktop support and help desk environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and software troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Previous experience as a Field Technician or working for another MSP is advantageous but not required.
- You will need to be approved for the company auto insurance policy which requires a good driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
