What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Tax Internship - Summer 2025 position at CME Group?
The CME Group Corporate Tax group is comprised of professionals with a variety of tax experiences. The team focuses on all domestic and international areas impacting the company including research, planning, audit defense, and compliance. We are looking for an enthusiastic accounting major to assist with all areas of compliance as well as special projects.
The corporate tax summer intern will expand their knowledge of accounting and tax concepts by assisting the Corporate Tax Team on the following projects :
- Preparation of corporate federal and state income tax returns
- Gathering data for foreign informational reporting
- Organizing information to be provided for federal and state income and sales tax audits, as well as other projects.
Requirements :
CME Group is committed to offering a competitive pay package for our employee interns. The annualized salary range typically applicable to our intern roles is $43,900-$73,100. Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to : relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
