CME’s Inventory Control department is looking to add an Inventory Coordinator to the team. This role plays a key part in improving inventory processes, maintaining accuracy, and optimizing workflow. You’ll work closely with our DTS (Direct to Site) Installation Team both onsite and nationwide.
This position includes occasional travel and reports directly to the Inventory Control Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end receiving and inventory control functions for assigned warehouse location(s).
- Establish and maintain strong communication with 3PL warehouse partners and DTS installation teams.
- Review vendor pack lists, inspect goods, and receive items into the ERP system, ensuring proper stocking locations.
- Collaborate frequently with Project Management, Customer Service, Warehouse, and DTS teams.
- Pick and stage products for upcoming deliveries.
- Assemble products for deliveries as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Document and coordinate product returns and vendor credits (RMA’s).
- Partner with onsite DTS installers to maintain proper inventory control and prepare for cycle counts and year-end physical inventory.
- Travel occasionally to support warehouse setup, inventory control initiatives, and physical inventory execution.
- Follow and enforce company safety standards.
- Support remote inventory control functions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- 2 years of warehouse receiving or inventory experience using an ERP system.
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel and Outlook required).
- Ability to work in a variety of warehouse environments and conditions.
- Ability to participate in occasional travel requiring overnight stays.
