What You’ll Do
- Carry out tasks assigned by operations support management safely and efficiently.
- Complete inspection reports every shift and keep accurate records.
- Follow all safety policies, wear required PPE, and report hazards immediately.
- Support maintenance on request and perform basic maintenance/repairs on your own.
- Collaborate and communicate clearly about production issues and needs.
- Troubleshoot problems using your knowledge and by partnering with teammates.
- Recommend improvements to work methods and procedures.
- Keep your work area orderly with daily housekeeping.
- Understand and comply with start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
What You Need to Bring
- Strong teamwork, reliability, attention to detail, organization, and work ethic.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inspections and communicating.
- Ability to learn quickly and multitask.
Schedule & Physical Requirements
- Rotating shifts that may include weekends and holidays; overtime required at times.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working around heat/cold, chemicals, dust/fumes/mists, uneven flooring, loud noise, heights, and confined spaces.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
Preferred Exposure/Experience
- Troubleshooting industrial automation equipment
- Mechanical troubleshooting and mechanical assembly
- Maintenance and repair skills; heavy equipment repair
- Automotive repair; machine building/assembling
- Crane operation
- Meets physical requirements
